Today I bumped into somebody I haven't seen for a long time.
After the usual brief catch up...I asked her about any current involvement in M.O.E.
Oh she said, that died away years ago...sigh...
When, who knows?
Why?
Well...I have a theory about it's possible irrelevance today...
My students 100% agree that Education is being poorly led. Courses, Examinations...well just about everything really.
Political interference mainly.
They tell me they can see that Equality in Educational delivery and examination is a model too far and that it will never work.
Ever.
What is needed is Fairness not Equality.
They can explain this to me in great detail. Brilliantly.
But nobody who matters will listen.
I think M.O.E. is a tool of fairness.
Always was.
Just saying...
